But Adam is standing now, too. “You’re right.” He says, and Anthony has one moment of being hopeful before Adam ruins it. “We shouldn’t be meddling in his life. You should be.”
“Absolutely not.”
“It makes sense!” Adam defends immediately. “You’ve known him for years! And you know him better than we do! I’m sure he would listen to you!”
“I am not—” Anthony starts, trying to put on his sternest voice.
“If you do this,” Adam rushes to say before Anthony can finish rejecting the idea entirely. “I promise we won’t make a single comment about your love life for the rest of the year.”

The Second Coming is imminent, and while someone schemes in the Shadows, someone else is unwilling to let the Light of hope fade: the Earth is too beautiful to vanish before every aspect of it can be transcribed into their notebook.

Imping: the process of replacing missing feathers with that of a donor.Aziraphale finally is the one to come to Crowley's aid. When he sees the damage done to the demon's wings, he begins to help without a passing thought, much to Crowley's disbelief. The demon's terror at the thought of Aziraphale coming to harm from the selfless act nearly stops him from accepting his help, but as soon as he feels the angel's touch on his wings, there was no possibility of stopping him.
Their relationship morphs and blossoms into so much more.Time Period: Early 1800's, after the bookshop has been opened. Multi chapter.
