He grunted and pitched forward, grabbing onto the edge of the kitchen island for stability. "What are the hell are you doing?" he demanded, turning his head and staring at her in disbelief.
"Hugging you," said Yelena. "Like we do when Bob says that he always makes things worse."
"I'm not gonna turn into the Void," John huffed, struggling to shrug her off.
"No, but you are talking shit about yourself and I don't like that." Yelena clung to him even more stubbornly. "None of us should be doing that anymore."
John leaned both elbows on the counter and sighed. "So... what, you're just gonna jump on me if I start talking about what a fuckup I am?"
"Yes." Yelena did not smile, but her eyes glittered with mirth. "And I will tell everyone else to do that, too. It's a new house rule."

The time before that, Luke stabbed Aemond in the face.

There were two men standing behind Stan. One of them, a guy with a thin face, square jaw, and thick glasses had an arm outstretched, keys in hand, staring at Stan with incredulity. Stan knew an expression like that could only mean one thing, his stomach turning. Whoever this guy was, he was the person that lived in this apartment. The apartment than Stan was currently breaking into.
Stan, upon accidentally locking himself out of his new apartment, decides to attempt entering the empty apartment next to his and simply climbing over the balcony railing to his own. Things don't exactly go according to plan.

Richie’s eyes squinted, trying to make out the shapes around him until he looked to where Stan’s hand still hovered. The small inhale and grin let Stan know he didn’t need his vision clear to figure out what was going on. He always did know Stan too well.

Stan scoffs loudly on accident, running a hand through his hair as Richie slings his arm around his shoulder. Stan, to his credit, doesn't shove Richie off. He just sighs. "If I agree to this, will you shut up for at least five minutes? And maybe try to actually get something done?"
"Stanley, my love, I'd do anything for you," Richie shoots back, grinning wide.

A story in which Stan and Richie carefully curate the perfect ruse to fool all their friends. Seems simple enough. But, it becomes a little complicated when the lie starts to feel a little too… real.
OR: Richie and Stan fake date to prank the Losers, and it raises some new feelings from Bill and Eddie. In the midst of it all, Richie and Stan get caught up in some feelings too.(editing :p)
