Dean's on a case in Vermont. He stumbles across a shifter pup left outside in a rainstorm and takes it in. Then he takes off with it. Summary
The story starts at the Battle of Kaer Morhen where things don't go as planned and Geralt is badly injured. Ciri decides to take him to the same person that saved his life after the pogrom but it's not as easy as she first thought. This twist will offer the opportunity of a crossover into the modern world before returning to the Witcherverse for new adventures.
This story is based on all book lore plus events in the game up to the battle of Kaer Morhen, but I did have to change/find explanations for things that were only alluded to in the books.
It's mostly a romance with some adventures mixed in later on (starting with chapter 24). I'll also try to tie in some things that were only mentioned in passing in the books.
Some fluff and fun will be sprinkled in for a bit of interlude into more serious things.Fair warning that it will contain some NSFW content starting with chapter 13.
Most of the story is prewritten so the updates will be constant.
