Dazai’s ability isn’t as simple as it seems, he hid the secondary functions of No Longer Human from Mori as a precaution and in an effort to ensure himself a way out of his cooperation with Mori. Abandoning the mafia in a painfully betrayed haze, Dazai goes into hiding. Taking a bit to set up his future plans.
Chuuya meanwhile, is now walking around the base wearing a large cat with an oddly familiar patterning as a living scarf of sorts. The clingy feline his new favored coworker/companion.

He was finishing counting the elytra’s and flagging anything that seemed out of place after some adventurer’s left when he heard a little chirp that sent chills to Minute’s spine, it was so quiet that he barely missed it, the reason he even considered searching the origin of such sound was the fear of a hybrid being lost in the outer islands since if the affirmation was true the hypothetical hybrid (most likely a bird hybrid) wouldn’t last conscious for much longer, and the theory was becoming truer by the minute, since the sound completely disappeared. “Is someone there?!” In a last desperate attempt, he shouted to the vast void in hopes of getting any response at all. To his surprise though, there was another chirp, louder this time, no, it was no longer a chirp, it was something more like a growl, a loud painful growl, that minute didn’t care about enough to register for now.
