Ever since Quackity was taken from his family when he was 14 for being a hybrid, experiments were tested on him until they couldn't salvage him anymore. Now age 20, he wanders from place to place, taking hostage in welcoming homes- not in the way one would expect. Before he got kidnapped, he was a normal hybrid, a human body with duck wings. He could transform into a duck on command. The experiments caused a major effect on him. Whenever the sun rose, he would turn into a duck, and couldn't turn back until the clock hit midnight. So, he travels place to place, leaving the second the people would start suspecting him.
It gets lonely, though. He just wished he could form proper relationships with people.

Summary
Wilbur is the head of the Waterside college student council. Coming from a rich and famous family, he is distant to do something great with his life.
On the other hand, Quackity is a student who is barely passing his law classes at Waterside college. After running away from his exe- taking his child Charlie with him-he finds himself living from paycheck to paycheck.
When this years president of student council election comes around, Quackity decides to join in. Wilbur decides to make Quackity a bet. Whoever wins can make the other do whatever they want for the rest of the year. Wanting that type of power, Quackity agrees. And of course, he loses.
And like that, Quackity is suddenly playing Wilbur’s to-be husband. Who is about to meet his high class family.

He can prevent their destruction if he can just get past his own grown fears of them. He can do this by himself, it's what is best for them all. He can keep them from breaking apart, keep Wilbur and Tubbo from all the pain they've experienced. Tommy can do this for them, even if he's a little bit cracked now. If they get suspicious, well, what was that play Wilbur mentioned once? Hamlet? Tommy can just do what that guy did.
(Tommy time travels into the past and begins to disguise his traumatic responses as the same kind of Chat Madness his older brother Techno is known for. But madness begets madness, and how far can Tommy go with a lie that begins to bleed at the edges?)
