Tommy has a crown tying him down that he’d do anything to be rid of. So when he decides to run away from his overbearing father and a mother who expects too much of him, he wants nothing but a fresh start. A fresh start that comes in the form of the son of a ship captain; a young man named Wilbur. Unbeknownst to Tommy, he now sails on the Syndicate, a pirate ship that’s a death wish to come across. The captain, a man named Philza, welcomes Tommy aboard with open arms. But when the King’s Navy comes after them, secrets come to light and Tommy gets to see what the world is really like outside of his father’s perfect illusion.

Not only does he have brain eating zombies to deal with, but also his annoying ex, Dream.George stared up blankly at his ex boyfriend before giving a gentle nod. Hands fled from his forearms and fell to soft sides. The red of sunset danced over dimming freckles on the rise of Dream’s cheeks, glossed over by warm colors. He remembered once when Dream’s cheeks looked that red without the hue of the sky’s reflection, from just the searing press of George’s lips against him.
“Oh, fuck.”
George blinked away his daydreams and turned to the herd of zombies approaching. Fuck. They were going to die and it was all his fault-

Tommy decides to pass the time by scrolling through his phone. He looks up when he hears the door open, the normal greeting that he's been taught dying on his tongue when he sees who it is.
There stands Selkie, one of the top 5 supervillains. She's bleeding from her front, hand caked in dry and sticky blood from where it holds a wound of some sort.
Tommy gapes as she stumbles inside the coffee shop, his coffee shop.
"You're a healer right?" She asks weakly, before promptly passing out.

If you asked Tommy a few years ago what he thought about his family? He would’ve said he loved them. That Wilbur would always play the guitar for him, singing, and letting him fall fast asleep, being able to relax, and pretend that it was just them, together.
Techno would teach him how to defend himself, praising him for even the smallest things that made his heart swell with glee.
And then dad. Dad would carry him while flying with his big wings, and he’d always have the time of his life up there. Everyone always looked like ants. It made everyone seem so small in this world.
But then one day it started to change.
Wilbur and dad had often gotten into fights, and Wilbur more often than not would leave the house for long periods of time.
He grew distant with Techno, and suddenly it seemed like everyone was doing their own things.
Tommy himself tended to be home alone due to the others having to do work.
He just wanted their attention again, to be back to a normal and happy family.
Heroism was ruining that.
So what did he do?
..He turned to Villainy.
