Female Officer 8B Universe, the oc/reader/canon character combo I came up with a while ago.
This is based off a dream I had and decided it'd be perfect to turn into a story. Set roughly 6 months after the events of Canon and the death of No9.
Summary:
Officer wakes screaming from a nightmare too detailed to dismiss: a half-renovated building, bioluminescent kaiju in tight corridors, and an explosion that swallowed her husband before she could reach him. Hoshina talks her through it and commits every detail to memory. Hours later, Mina arrives at his office with paperwork for a warehouse supply run... and the building inspection report describes a facility mid-renovation with narrow upper-floor corridors.Hoshina makes a quiet trip to the armory. He's not the only one.
