Summary
In which the story doesn’t end.
We follow Gator’s story, following the aftermath of everything that happened thus far. Dot who promised she’ll visit Gator in prison and bring him his favourite cookies.
Gator, newly blind and having to adapt, he navigates and tries to live in this new darkness. He’s transferred to the Texas Federal Medical Centre, instead of a normal prison.
He didn’t expect to find a friend in such a place, a guy who makes him feel not so isolated and alone in the dark. Suddenly, he’s faced with new challenges, reality changing realisations, he’s confronted with his past beliefs, his sins and how he must accept it and move forward to be better.
The blind rabbit, finds a deaf fox in the same cage amongst other animals and creatures, they both rely on each other to be better, find their redemption and live with their past.

Summary
Several years after The Mountain (TM) Jaskier gets himself kidnapped by someone looking for Geralt and Ciri. He dosen't have a good time. Geralt, meanwhile, is also not having a good time.
The obligatory post mountain(break-up) angst and eventual comfort because I have yet to unlock the hurt no comfort ability.

Summary
Jaskier, after getting left behind by Geralt for being sick, makes a deal with a fae so that all the illnesses he was meant to get throughout the year are shoved into three horrible days in winter.
It’s great! Jaskier loves it, at least the other 362 days of the year. He never gets sick, Geralt doesn’t get sick of him, everyone’s happy!
Except then he’s stuck at the witcher’s keep during winter after Voleth Meir, and when he tries to warn Geralt to keep Ciri away the next few days, the witcher accuses him of being lazy.
Geralt…comes to regret that.

Summary
Though Jaskier knew Ciri had received Witcher training, he was sure she severely lacked in the Knowledge of Monsters department. And so he was watching out for her. From his place in the bushes with the horses, as the three wyverns sprang to attack the Witcher and Witcher-in-Training, Jaskier’s eyes were only on Ciri.
When Ciri strayed three feet too far into the open, Jaskier sprang to his feet, knowing she had not exactly mastered Aard to fend the wyverns off.
When Ciri got distracted with a wyvern that stooped low, Jaskier was already running. Because what Ciri did not know (probably) was that wyverns were smart, and when one purposefully swung low, it was so another could ambush from behind.
Geralt, who was many feet too far in the open dealing with the third wyvern, could not react in time. And so it was Jaskier who went sprinting without a second thought, even before the second Wyvern had begun its swoop, thinking nothing more than to 'Save her, Gods, anyone but Ciri' and he was barely able to shove her out of the way before he was airborne, the second wyvern’s sharp teeth tearing into his flesh as it flung him.

Summary
Jaskier grasped Geralt’s body from under the armpits and tugged hard, attempting to drag his friend away. The acid on Geralt’s armor ate his flesh and Jaskier screamed, yet his hold remained firm.
He felt his arms and hands burn as he continued to drag the Witcher deeper into the forest, towards the stream. The acidic smell was nauseating, already threatening to pull him unconscious. With slow, painful steps, he dragged the Witcher to the stream, burning his fingers as he ripped the armor off his friend, the acid already eating through his gloves. The pain in his fingers was agonizing, drawing tears from his eyes as he divested his friend from the armor, then dragged him into the shallow water to wash the acid away.
(A contract turned wrong leaves Geralt and Jaskier injured)
