Summary
To prepare the French delicacy ortolan bunting, one must capture the tiny songbird as it attempts to migrate south for the winter, force feed it much like the witch from “Hansel and Gretel” fattens up her hapless victims, and, finally, drown it in a vat of Armagnac brandy.
Once the ortolan is dead (and, thanks to the brandy, marinated), it is cooked, plucked and served. The diner traditionally veils their face with a napkin before consuming the bird—bones, feet, head and everything but the beak—in a single bite. In the words of the Telegraph’s Harry Wallop, “The napkin is partly to keep in all the aromas of the dish, partly to disguise you having to spit out some of the bigger bones. But, mostly, because diners wish to hide the shame of eating such a beautiful creature from the eyes of God.”

A decade after the cancellation of the hit TV show L’manburg, Wilbur Minecraft and Tommy Innit are jobless but still living as if they’re in the glory days of their canceled show. The only one trying to actually move them along is Quackity, Wilbur’s long-suffering agent and on-and-off again but never-actual boyfriend who forces him to take a small role on season 2 of the up-and-coming TV show The Syndicate.

Summary
Quackity’s been working the god-awful crack of dawn opening shift at the 7-Eleven off of I-81 for the last eight months. It’s temporary; just until he gets his feet back under him and fixes the miserable state of his bank account. This is a transitional period. His life isn’t over just yet.
Enter Tubbo, the strange kid who steals once, gets caught twice, and then drives Quackity to the emergency room. He's hunting Bigfoot, or something like it, and Quackity is equal parts baffled and concerned. Before he knows it, he's in the passenger seat of a quest to prove Bigfoot's existence--or lack thereof--and, maybe, learning how to look in the rearview mirror too.
