Summary:
Sometimes when John came back from a hunt and was becoming reunited with whatever hotel room or flat they had rented for the time being, he still had a lot of adrenaline left and wasn't ready to settle. When nothing else worked, when he couldn’t get the energy spike out of his system, sometimes he took it out on Dean. It was just something that started happening. John couldn’t remember exactly when and he didn’t really care.

There isn't really a height difference between them, but the older man is thicker, heavier with age and muscle and time. He's broader and probably stronger, if not for the injury. Dean could outrun him, if he had to, but to where? His own front door?
He reaches out a hand to touch Mr. Novak's belt, presses a finger to the silver buckle there.
"Been told I'm good with my mouth, too."
It's Summer in Sugar Run, Florida. John has disappeared to God knows where, and Dean is doing whatever he can to make ends meet and keep food on the table. Summary
What if Lucifer knew the things Castiel would do if Lucifer were put back into the cage? What if he gave Castiel an offer he really shouldn't refuse? Will Castiel resign to this fate that awaits him, or change what has not yet been?
During S5E10- Episode: Abandon all hope, Castiel goes off to figure out why there were so many reapers in the town, and the gang (Sam, Dean, Cas, Ellen, and Jo) are in. The plan was to use the Colt to kill the devil, but Castiel never saw if it came to fruition. Getting trapped in a barn, not unlike the first one he introduced himself to Dean in, with the one angel he never wanted to be in proximity with, Lucifer. He knows how the story goes, claims Castiel is to ruin things far worse than even Lucifer would. What better way to show Castiel than to see it with his own eyes, after all, seeing is believing.
