Objectively, this used to be true. Nowadays Shane has many, many plans, between his nightly plans to look at Ilya’s penis through Skype and his various long-term plans laid out helpfully in his notebook, Canva (For Ilya’s sake. He is a visual learner), and more recently, Excel. Shane loves that excel sheet. He’s colour coded it.
In 2017, Shane Hollander spirals and proposes to his boyfriend of 4 days (or 7 years, or 9 years, or not his boyfriend at all, depending on how you look at it), which leads to a lot of plans, weird theories in the Montreal Voyageur locker room, some Twitter drama, and Ilya Rozanov entering his WAG era.

He could guess from the context – he’d heard of rookies being assigned to live with older single players, veterans who could show them the ropes. Maybe that was what Fletcher meant. Connors maybe, he was probably a handful of years older than Ilya. Or perhaps Becker. Ilya just hoped it was someone who–

The words hit Ilya like a punch to the gut. For a moment, he forgot how to breathe.
"Petrov?" he managed, his voice coming out strangled.

The idea of spending a year living with a man that Ilya is sure hates him is completely terrifying. And yet, it ends up being the best thing to ever happen to him.

No no, see he's just petty and vindictive, and wants to see Carlton’s entire world burn around him while Mike stands there holding the matches! Breaking up him and Will just… happens to be a happy benefit of that!
They each have their own motivations for stealing Will from Carlton. They're doing the whole wide world a favor, really. But in order to do this, they have to put aside their differences and form a united front against Carlton… and through a series of hilarious hijinks and unfortunate events, slowly fall in love in the process.

When they’re young, of course they know Arya is the wild one. But it’s not until she gets old enough to start sitting in on the lessons Sansa had used to take alone that they realise how wild she really is. At first, the little sister she had always wanted sits in on the sewing and music lessons with a sort of stubborn single-mindedness to get it all right. It’s clear to everyone, though, particularly to Septa Mordane, that Arya is not gifted like Sansa is gifted.
Arya can’t sew a straight line, even when given instruction, and when they’re listening to the songs about knights she only cares about the ladies with swords and the names of dragons, not the love story at the core — not the most important bits. And she doesn’t understand Jeyne’s japes and she doesn’t have any comments to make about the comeliness of certain stablehands or — or anything.

Thousands of gold cogs wasted, money that would have been used to build his empire until it could stand against Piltover's council, and yet as he watched the green streaks through the sky, he couldn't help but think these Firelights were Zaunite to their core. These young rebels embodied the spirit of Zaun almost as much as his own daughter, Jinx.
He glanced down at her now, only to pause at the still expression on her face. Her gaze tracked one of the masked figures unerringly—the leader, if Silco was reading their dynamics right—eyes just a bit too wide, and her fingers twitched by her side. He'd seen her get like this before, when she was confronted with her past.
She knows him.
An idea begins to take shape in Silco's mind.
Or: Silco wants to recruit the Firelights. Too bad they hate his guts.
