Summary
Harry Potter has known that Lord Voldemort's been back for months now, but the entire Wizarding World knows now. People turn to him with hopes he's a “Chosen One,” and others turn away in fear of the magic that he's found himself possessing. He has his friends and his family by his side. He keeps them close to his heart, as they are all who he can trust, but there are others that attempt to get close to the heart he has. Others that want to make it stop beating.
Harry won't allow it. Neither will those he trusts, though he does not ask them to do this for him. They do it without having to be asked, and that's the best trust he could ever need.

When Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy show up with Draco, their son and Harry's best friend, to basically rescue him from the Dursley's, he knows the year is going to be amazing. When he starts hearing voices nobody else hears, he does get a little put off about the year, but other than that, it's going great!

Draco’s face crumpled. “I’m sorry Harry, there is no way back.” It was like a bell had been struck inside Harry’s head - all he could hear was ringing. “There’s no where to go back to,” Draco moaned. “He wasn’t just trying to travel in time - he was trying to obliterate his own.” Draco choked on his tears. “There’s nothing ahead of this to travel to yet Harry.” He let out a few more hiccuping tears before finally suppressing his noises of pain. “There is no going back,” he whispered.

Call that "special" if you want. But under all that, he's a regular college student juggling three jobs, an internship, a sad mockery of a social life, and saving the city day and night. The usual stuff.
So when he somehow catches the eye of a casually gorgeous country boy with an accent that could turn even Aunt May's brick-hard mashed potatoes to mush, he's only thrown for a minute before he writes it off as a fluke. What could a guy like that see in a guy like him anyway?

So when he received an alert from his AI about Peter Parker needing his assistance during a midnight patrol, the engineer hadn't thought much of it, only concerned about bringing the kid home and sleeping. His plans changed just as he arrived at the location, eyes meeting the round face of a two-year-old toddler with brown curls who called him "M' Sta'k". Oh God.

What do you say to that-" The man stops short because Peter's shoulders are shaking, and before he can curl his lip in victory, he hears a snicker. When he lets go of Peter's hair, the teen's head slumps to his chest, but it's not out of exhaustion or defeat...it's to hide a smile.
The boy lets out a laugh, shaking his head before glancing to the sides admitting apologetically, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, it's just- it is so fun to mess with you!" He looks around before snorting, "Tony Stark? That's your play? You're not screwing with me, right? You actually thought that would work? Sorry guys." Peter straightens in his chair with a sneer and a cocky wink, "Tony doesn't give a flying crap about me."
In other words.... Peter is kidnapped and his captors think they can hold Tony against him. But they don't know what's happened in the past couple months.
