Summary
Dean has been betrayed and hurt by everyone around him. Because of this, he can't act on his submissive tendencies which makes him extremely sick... The worst case Cas has ever seen.
The world thinks he's a lost cause, but Cas is willing to try and save his life. Only one problem: Dean is feisty and refuses to be helped. He fights and runs every chance he gets, hurting himself in the process. He has no reason to trust Cas, which makes his recovery unlikely. Though, maybe Cas can change that (:
Basically, Dean being sick and injured and Cas caring for him. Not always consensually tho. Hence 'Forced Care' tag. Then eventually they grow to love each other and its really sweet. (not complete but working on it, very very very slow, slow burn, so dont be surprised when it takes ages for them to start to trust each other)

Summary
All the angels told Cas that buying Dean was a bad idea. He could have chosen any human pet as a companion—the nicer ones, docile, sweet and affectionate. Instead, his heart was drawn to an aggressive stray with a bum leg and a habit of biting. And regardless, he was going to love this flawed human to his fullest extent.
Mostly Dean and Cas favouriting each other over literally everyone.

Summary
Cas hadn't even told him which monster he'd been brought here to slay, but guessing by the cottage in the middle of fucking nowhere, it was probably vamps. Dean couldn’t imagine why Cas would be so happy about it either… or why Cas couldn’t have just killed the monsters himself.
Regardless, Dean tensed and quieted his steps. He pulled away and took out his knife, prepared for some son of a gun to jump out at him.
Cas took one glance at him and rolled his eyes. “You can put that away,” Cas said simply. “I will protect you from anything.”
“I know, but what are we hunting?”
“Hunting?” Cas turned around and stared at Dean, then his face softened. “No. This is our house.”

Jesper’s eyes focused long enough for him to realize that Kaz’s skin was drained of color beneath those damned freckles. He looked almost like a ghost, framed by gray harbor waters and a gray sky to match. “You okay?” Jesper asked, and he was pretty sure he heard Kaz laugh. It was a dry, mirthless thing, but the sound was unmistakable.
“I’m fine.” Kaz’s voice was as steady as ever, but Jesper knew he wasn’t imagining the way Kaz’s hand trembled against his skin. “I’m not the one who’s been shot, you absolute podge.”

I loved this so much. The characterisation is perfect. I had such a blast reading, cas is so cutesy and Dean is so abused like a kicked puppy. I adore tge dynamic and the way the story was written in the dual pov.
