Rex blinks up at him, eyes wide, startled; shellshocked, maybe. Mouth held open ‘round a couple of Phil’s fingers, tongue pink and soft and spit-slicked, whiskey foaming in there mixed with Rex’s own saliva. It shouldn't make for an appealing sight; Rex's bottom lip all chapped and his teeth half-crooked and nicotine-stained, a stray patch of missed stubble in the crease of his chin; mouth too rough-edged, too mannish, to be sexy, the way it is when Phil's poured a shot into a chick's mouth.
(Phil’s still hard in his shorts about it, though; pulsing, insistent, against the taut muscle of Rex’s thigh.)

Summary
The joint premiere of Mozart's Der Schauspieldirektor and Salieri's Prima la musica e poi le parole at the Orangery in 1786 inspires some strong feelings and jibes about the state of opera, provokes rash (and not so rash) actions in an out-of-the way billiards room, and inspires Salieri to consider a new dimension to his ongoing war against God.
Missing scene for the play (with the canonical back-and-forth between Salieri's reminiscences in the 1820s and action/dialogue in the 1780s). Loosely set sometime between the premiere of La grotta di Trofonio and the conversation between Salieri and Rosenberg about how to block Figaro.
Elements of this are definitely dubcon, with Salieri's inner monologue occasionally pondering the possibility of noncon (although there is nothing particularly explicit in this scene and Mozart turns out to be into it).

Salieri held the letter in his hands. What was Mozart saying? It was almost as if he was hinting that he knew what Salieri had done, and was offering him the chance to move on. Too kind! Too generous! And impossible. It irritated Salieri's religious sensibilities; how could one forgive a crime without acknowledging it?
It could not be borne.

Mozart survives, and Salieri does not know what to do next.

Riddler was frustratingly smart enough that it was hard to keep him under control. He escaped Arkham too often with too many schemes and too many allies, and Bruce was starting to wonder how he would ever keep him away.
And then he realized. Edward didn’t need crime, per se, he just needed something to do. Something to keep his mind occupied with anything actually beneficial, something to distract him with and something that actually forced him to think.
And well, after that- all that was left to take care of was Edward's need for attention; but Bruce could handle that.

Henry’s precise study of Bunny’s profile continued, and he noted how pale Bunny looked in this dimness. It was almost as if he had never been the sun before, as if he were an entirely separate entity from that son of Helios.
