Summary
A new attending comes to PTMC to start over. Doctor Robinavitch is unimpressed, distant, and paying more attention than he lets on. She pushes back, he pushes harder, and the boundary of professionalism between them becomes increasingly theoretical. Neither seem particularly interested in finding it again, or admitting what they now stand to lose.
or...coworkers with authority issues start sleeping together and catch feelings during a series of increasingly bad workdays.
can be read as either a reader-insert or an original female character (no names or “Y/N” used)

Summary
"You want me to go?"
That's the last thing Jack wants. "Stay, please, you know you're always welcome."
Robby relaxes, and he carries on stirring
Jack interrupts the quiet once more with the other question that's been on the tip of his tongue.
"Why haven't you left?"
Robby freezes. He doesn't turn around, doesn't look at Jack, like it's easier to be honest this way.
"Because I think if I go, I won't come back."
******
After the end of 2x15. Robby turns up at Jack's house instead of going on his sabbatical and then just....doesn't leave

Summary
You and Robby have a rhythm that feels unshakable: best friends, across-the-hall neighbors, and partners in every small routine from days off to the walk into the Pitt.
But one night, a simple misunderstanding about a dinner date with an old friend tilts your world on its axis. The comfortable safety of "just friends" finally shatters for both of you, leading to an honest confession that changes the gravity of your entire world. It turns out, when you’ve already spent years building a life together, the only thing left to do is finally admit it.Bookmarked by Creative_writer17

Summary
“Doctor Abbot,” you say softly, trying the shape of it out loud.
Jack’s breath changes. Just barely, but you feel it stutter in his chest.
“What’d you call me?”
Your heart kicks hard against your ribs.
“Doctor Abbot.”
His mouth parts, just slightly. It’s enough to tell you that you’ve found something hiding beneath the title. A loose thread, a door left unlocked.
“That do something for you?” he asks.

Summary
You’re Robby’s daughter, home from college for the summer, (and yes, unfortunately, it is exactly one of those stories).
Your dad is supposed to pick you up from the airport. Big surprise, he doesn’t. He gets stuck at work and sends Jack Abbot in his place.
Jack is older. Jack is your dad’s friend. Which means Jack should know better.
One night isn’t enough. One bad decision isn’t enough. By the time summer really starts, Dr. Abbot is already in too deep, and you’re starting to think you don’t want him to find his way out.
______________
Jack’s hand came up and touched the hem of your tank top, fingers brushing the fabric at your hip. “All weekend, I kept thinking about you in my bed.”
“Then I’d look up,” he continued, voice low, controlled, and way too even, “and your father would be ten feet away asking if I had seen a chart.”
Your whole body flushed at once. “Jack.”
His eyes darkened at his name, but he did not let you derail him. “I’d think about you on my couch. Your mouth. The way you looked when you came. Then Robby would be there, talking to me like nothing had changed.”
