Summary
Real care and affection is completely void from your relationship. There is no semblance of romance, and you’re at peace with that. You would be a fool to try and convince yourself that any of that was left.
That isn’t to say that your marriage with Hendrick is void of sex.

A ghost is an omen of death, a weapon, a tool, a figment. It craves what it could not have in life and cannot rest in death without.
Or, what it means to be Ghost.

Summary
"Should I get you a drink, young master?" Ichiban hovered at a respectable distance, toes flexing nervously on the hard floor. The young master was in a strange mood tonight.
"No." The young master was making no move to continue undressing. Ichiban thought he wanted to keep his thin weak legs covered. In the low light his face was tired.
"A cigarette?" Ichiban's hand hovered near his own breast pocket. The young master wasn't supposed to smoke but very occasionally did.
"Ichi." Don't make me ask.

Summary
Suddenly she was upside down; all the contents of her stomach spilled out, splattering across the runway. A voice in her ear, rough, shouted in English: “stay with us. Goddammit, you’re going to stay alive.” A voice she knew…
Russell Adler, America's Monster, has a problem. After finding Bell near death, the CIA bring them back with a healthy dose of mind control in the hopes that her skills and information will be the final tool in finding the rogue Soviet Perseus before he destroys Europe.
Their camaraderie is falsely inserted in her mind, yet something about it feels all too real, making Adler's mission much more complex than it already was...

Summary
As Adler slowly turns into the husk Stitch wants, hallucinations start to come about.
“You’ll always be the worst.” Adler’s lips moved, a shadow of a smirk. “This whole situation is ironic, you ever thought of that?”
Adler’s lips flattened as he moved his head away from them. The red shuffled away.
“It hasn’t escaped my knowledge, no. I’m growing insane, not stupid.”
“You think you’re going insane?”
His ears ring with chimes.

Summary
A series of my interpretations between Russell Adler and Bell's relationship, with a lot of allegories, cryptic writing and dark themes. Lots of blood, angst, and unrequited love. This is not a love story, but love is in it.

Summary
Adler doesn’t go back to Berlin to forget, but he isn’t so eager to remember, either. After leaving you for dead on that clifftop in the Arctic, he knows best to leave the past well alone. Too bad that past seems to be alive and walking right in front of him. Though where he wants to forget, it seems you’ve already beaten him to the punch.
or; Bell survives Solovetsky and only has a hole in her head and amnesia to show for it.
(set a few years after the end of cw but i don't play multiplayer so what happens in canon there is none of my business shjkshjhjjk)

Summary
There’s a teddy in Soap’s bed; a beaten-up, old brown bear. Well-loved, if the state of the fur is any indication. Ghost lets out a choked laugh, mostly at his own expense. He wishes he was there, suddenly, wishes he was by Johnny’s side as he walked through the doorway and realised that his childhood room was waiting for him like a time capsule. Wishes he got to see the embarrassed scrunch of his face, the way the tips of his ears would flush red.
Soap has a whole second life, outside of the SAS. He’s got a mother, and a poorly-decorated bedroom, and a bear. All Ghost has is a flat that will be the same it is today as it will be the day he dies, like he was never even here at all.

Summary
"But the worst—or the best, because obedience feels so good, it feels indulgent, like a reward—is when the words are already out of Ghost’s mouth before he can stop them, when he realizes halfway through that he’s said something irreversible."
Ghost is sure everyone can tell how he feels, and he's stopped trying to hide it.

He wades in it now, eyes still open, fixed on the speckled ceiling, begging himself not to crave bomb blasts and artillery fire in his childhood bedroom. Although…there might be something beautiful about it all, Johnny supposes, those noises in the thick. The gasps in between discharge that say: I’m here, I’m a part of this song too.
After a near-fatal injury, John MacTavish finds himself back in his hometown in Scotland. Fresh off an untimely discharge, he's forced to cope with disability, his dysfunctional family, and the lingering knowledge that there are some things he's just not ready to leave behind...

Summary
734 days. You'd been a prisoner, locked and hidden away in this solitary cell for over two years. Others there had committed petty crimes or made themselves an enemy of the Ultranationalists, and before them— the Soviet Union.
A majority of prisoners hadn't done anything wrong at all, though they were too poor, too educated, or simply too much of a threat to the regime. Anyone could have been in the cell next to yours for any reason. But you? You knew why you were expected to rot away there.
It was either die of disease or malnutrition in your cell, long forgotten by anyone who'd known your name, or be found by either side of the conflict and be killed. Death had called to you for a while; you didn't fear it. And you didn't fear the three, foreign operators when they broke through the door to your prison cell— or when the one with the skull mask held an assault rifle to your head.
❝And who the fuck is this?❞
