"Now tha's real nasty." He jumped at Jabber's voice looming behind him,
"Shaddup." He tugged his arm back to his side with a huff as he glared daggers at Jabber through the mirror. "Thought ya left." He muttered hesitantly, which confused him, there was no reason for him to be hesitant. Crouching down, he grabbed the medical supplies that was tucked neatly inside the cabinet.
A small laugh just loud enough for Zanka to hear was let out, it made his eyebrow twitch with annoyance. "Nah man, thought I'd see whatcha up ta."

He unknowingly listened to the last fading thump of the single drum. It was fleeting and lost of life, it had finally sputtered out into nothing. A heart had finally beat it's last drum.
Zanka thought he fell asleep to a beating drum of a fleeting heart, then his heart suddenly started to beat loudly in his ears. He blinked, once, twice, three times. He brought his hands up to rub his eyes, was he hallucinating again? Squinting, he looked around to scan his surroundings properly. He was back, back at.. the weapon selection?

Summary
He tried clearing his throat as a sad attempt to relieve the irritating tickle in his throat, it of course, didn't work. Making him frown with annoyance, pushing it to the back of his mind—to the best of his ability—he met Jabber's eyes once again.
The moment their eyes met, the tickle formed into something of an aggressive burning sensation. He tried his best to ignore the feeling. It was beginning to be incredibly difficult as tears forcefully pricked at the corner of his eyes.

Zanka tilted his head leaning down close to Jabber with his wide blank eyes. Staring down at him with what he assumes is murderous intent, though his blank eyes made it hard to pinpoint. It made his nervous smile widen further, a bead a sweat dripped down the side of his face.
or Jabber peacefully sleeping when Zanka starts attacking him, turns out he's not all that awake.

a blank space, a missing part“Zanka?” Enjin calls again, “You… you hit your head pretty hard.”
“No shit, with this headache,” Zanka grumbles. He glances up at Zodyl, pulling a face, and carefully wiggles out of his hold, standing on his own two feet. He sways a bit, then says, “Who the hell are you people?”
Interesting. Zodyl’s mind begins spinning, ideas and experiments spilling into his thoughts as Zanka assesses both them and the Cleaners with an unfamiliar gaze.
“Kyouka,” he says then, “What… what’s going on?”
On a joint mission with the Hellguard, Zanka takes a hit to the head. Zodyl sees an opportunity and takes it.

“Could be worse,” he says. It’s a half truth. It doesn’t feel bad, mostly because the area has already begun to go numb, which might be worse. “Might be poisoned, though. Stupid thing was probably venomous.”
“Shit. Is it…?”
Life-threatening?
Macaque snorts. “Guess we'll have to sit here and find out, huh?”
