Love, scars, flushed faces, and tear stains. Are these things positive enough to outweigh the bad, the trauma, and fear of rejection?

There is no permanent cure to nightmares, at least of what Sirius knows of. After years of abuse at the hands of his family, Sirius Black must deal with the remainder of his trauma whilst also navigating friendship and love.
