Summary
“It must have been incredible,” Caspian says, tearing his eyes from the horizon to glance over at Peter, who still watches the tide come in below the crumbled edge of the terrace. “Your Narnia.”
“It was,” replies Peter, one nail tracing the grooves of the lion-pommel’s mane. He sounds wistful and melancholic and mournful all at once. “Trumpkin told us they’re calling it the Golden Age now, when we ruled. But back then it was just Narnia. I wish— well. I suppose I wish you could have seen it. I think you would have liked it.”
And Caspian, watching the sunlight dapple Peter Pevensie’s cheekbones, the sea breeze ruffling his hair—Caspian, gazing at a King who stepped right out of the stories his professor used to tell him, out of the Golden Age of Narnia itself; High King Peter the Magnificent, who came when Caspian called—thinks that what he’s seeing right now is more than enough.
(or, the kings and queens of old are not quite what caspian expected, high king peter most of all. apparently the feeling is mutual.)

Summary
Almost six months after the dramatic end of the 74th Hunger Games, the nation of Panem is balancing on a knife's edge. The two Victors of those Games, Nina Zenik and Matthias Helvar, haven't seen each other since their final interview in the Capitol...but now it's time for the Victory Tour, where they'll be facing not only a nation that sees them as powerful symbols of a revolution, but a shadowy group of Victors and rebels that wants them to use their power to bring the Hunger Games and the Capitol down for good. Nina is enthusiastic and Matthias is conflicted, but once the 75th Hunger Games are announced, they'll have no choice but to deal with the Games, once and for all.
Fifth in the Now We All Are Chosen Ones series. Sequel to Gold Rush

Summary
“Look,” Nina says. Inej has startled her badly enough that she’s made a mess of her eyeliner – the wing on her right eye careens wildly to one side.
“I’m all for reclaiming your sexuality. Seriously. Two thumbs up from me. But, honestly, Inej, does it have to be with the most emotionally unavailable man you know?”
“Well, who would you suggest?”
Nina’s eyes bulge. “Oh, I don’t know, literally anyone with a pulse and a conscience?”
“Kaz has –
“We don’t know that,” Nina says sternly.

And then the countries start filing out onto the stage, one by one. And then it’s their turn to step out of the tunnel, into the heart of the National Stadium, into the blinding lights and the deafening cheers and the music that pounds into every bone in his body. And then it finally hits him.
He’s here.

Summary
Kaz squints at her. “Are you a student, Inej?”
And, oh, no.
Her name sounds exactly right in his rock salt rasp. It spells trouble. She shakes it off and tries to focus on answering the question. She supposes that in a different world she could be a student. She would live in a cozy apartment with some other girls, and this would just be a part-time job, so she would have time to attend lectures and write papers and go on dates.
But Inej does not live in that world. She lives in this one.

He’s like all the others, when they bring him in. More than half dead, covered in mud. Leg almost hanging off him, just a mess of torn flesh and exposed bone. Likely won’t survive. God knows Inej has seen better off than him succumb to their injuries.
Northern France, 1917. In a battlefield hospital, Corporal Kaz Rietveld lies gravely wounded. His nurse is determined that he will not be another thing she loses to this war.

Summary
Inej Ghafa is a principal dancer of the Kerch National Ballet, haunted by a past she'd rather forget. Kaz Brekker is a mob boss who holds the city in the palm of his hand.
Perhaps if all were right with the world, two such people would never meet. Or perhaps fate will always give those who need each other a push in the right direction.
It begins, as so many things in Ketterdam do, with a murder.

Summary
Zuko doesn’t have time to deal with pressure for an arranged marriage, especially since he isn’t even sure he likes women that way. (A realisation that has absolutely nothing to do with Ambassador Sokka - shut up, Suki.) Katara and Aang have broken up again, and the Northern Water Tribe are pushing for a match between the North and South.
Which leads Zuko and Katara to develop a genius, foolproof, only slightly drunken plan: they can pretend to date for the length of Katara’s stay in the palace, giving them both a brief reprieve from political pressures on their love lives.
What could go wrong?

Summary
[Time passes oddly. Between one second and the next, Sokka has the Fire Lord pinned to the wall with his hands around the bastard’s throat. Golden eyes (one gold eye, his mind whispers) widen in shock.
“Sokka?” he chokes out. And then he smiles.
What the fuck?
“Sokka, I—”
Sokka slams his head against the wall, once, twice, and the smile wipes off his face. Good.
“What,” Sokka bites out, “have you done to my sister?”]
Or:
An injury leaves Sokka with amnesia. His last memory is of the failed invasion, of leaving his father behind in enemy territory on the Day of Black Sun. Of hopelessness. Rage.
But then he wakes up, and the war is over. Suddenly, he must come to terms with the fact that years have passed, and that he's somehow the Southern Water Tribe Ambassador to the Fire Nation. He is also supposedly friends with banished-Prince-turned-Fire-Lord Zuko, of all people. Close friends.
Yeah, nah.
