Summary
Madelynn Scrubb longed for adventure. She read about mystical lands in books, or stared at the lush brushstrokes of paintings holding Minotaurs and unicorns. But she always reminded herself of one thing: It was never real.

Summary
Tragedy struck the Pevensies when they returned to England after their Golden Age. Shaken and in mourning, the siblings slowly became estranged from one another. Edmund’s soul was twisted and hopeless as the siblings began drifting apart. Each started seeking their own callings until the younger siblings receive a letter from Peter and Susan. Both say they've been back in Narnia—except it felt like everything but home.
Narnia's in shambles, they wrote, crawling with Telmarines. They tell the tale of Caspian, a forgotten exiled prince, and Eirene, the princess who got left behind. But rather than being Eirene and Caspian's saviors, Peter and Susan failed their mission. Edmund and Lucy get called back to make amends.

He was a ghost amongst his family, he thought to himself. Everyone praised Peter, how handsome he was, how tall he was. Everyone fawned over Susan, the oldest girl, how beautiful she was, how demure, how well spoken. Lucy was the baby and she played the part well, to no fault of her own, she was doted on for how cute she was, how darling, how precious and precocious. Lost within the mix was Edmund, the second born son. He wasn’t handsome or tall like Peter, and he wasn’t the baby like Lucy, he seemed to just fade into the background.

I wrote the Edmund-centric fic that I wanted to see in the world. This fic centers around the trauma that Edmund suffered at the hands of the White Witch in Narnia (canonical and non-canonical), his relationship with his siblings, his relationship to the world around him, and his journey growing up as a gay kid in 1930s-40s England and Narnia. This is the first of what will be a series, each fic focusing on a different part of his life. This one will focus mainly on little kid Edmund and Narnia Edmund. There is some heavy content, so check the tags, I will also put appropriate trigger warnings at the beginning of each chapter.

Summary
Susan was abandoned. Abandoned and misconstrued. Abandoned by Narnia and Aslan, before a train crash caused her family to abandon her as well. She was discontent at her job at Bletchley Park already, just a glorified secretary, essentially—although she would be forever grateful to the Professor for getting her a job there—and England reminded her too much of her family. So she left, left for America, a place she was at least comfortable in after visiting with her parents after the war.
She was placed with an American government agency, still stuck with the same job as before, until a chance meeting with a fellow Brit led her to join the newly-founded Strategic Homeland, Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division. They really needed to work on that name.
