Summary
He had no time for such letters and he needn't to read it.The letter was sent from Iron. when his son was still sailing, not running around with the Avatar. pitching the bride of his nose, Ozai grabbed the tea cup before sipping. He glared some more at the wall of his office before the candle melted as the flame grew more and more with each irritated breath he took. What was that letter anyways ? ' probably related to Zuko' A voice whispered in his ear.
The voice was right. It was probably about his son who had also betrayed him and his nation.
Ridiculous.
He was "not" going to read that letter.
( In witch Zuko is raped by Zhao. Iroh had hoped that Ozai would be a father and respond. Protect his son because Zuko had been far too damaged. And Ozai doesn't read the letter but now after two years, he found it on his desk. He doesn't know what's going on and that letter might just change everything. )
Side note : Zuko already joined the gaang and talked with Iroh. Iroh is in White Lotus and preparing. Sozin combat is two years away by the way, so Aang and the others still have time to prepare.although it might not even need preparation, if only Ozai would stop being a bitch and read that shit. -

Meanwhile, the remnants of the Southern Water Tribe get washed into the Foggy Swamp on their way to join their sister-nation in the North Pole and are taken in by the tribe of waterbenders there. Summary
it’s been years since the last time azula has taken some friends home or to the jasmine dragon cafe that iroh owns. and it’s least likely that she has brought a partner home (even though she’s still sixteen…). to say iroh isn’t worried would be the fattest lie he would’ve said. he is certainly worried about his niece’s youth.

Summary
'For I Adonai am a jealous God, avenging the sins of the fathers unto the sons unto the third and fourth generations of those who hate me'.
In one reality Azulon disposes of Ozai before Ozai can try to dispose of him and seeks to salvage his failed eugenics experiment. For Princess Ursa this leads to the most wonderful scenario she never dared imagine.
For Azula and Iroh it leads to the slow realization that in the end the worst monsters of all are those who are convinced that their deeds are just and righteous no matter what they are or how they act.

Summary
Avatar Aang leaves the South Pole with Katara and Sokka without ever having met a Fire Nation soldier, much less Prince Zuko.
Instead, he meets Commander Zhao shortly after settling onto Kyoshi Island, a cunning military man who has no teenaged prince in the vicinity to antagonize. Not that he would have if he did.
Prince Zuko dines in the Royal Palace with his parents, Fire Lord Ozai and Fire Lady Ursa, his younger sisters Princess Azula and Princess Kiyumi (known affectionately as Kiyi to her brother), and his uncle Prince Iroh, the Dragon of the West.
In a world where Zuko was never banished, where Ozai was never anything except the best father and husband he could be to his family (though that didn't extend to the rest of the Fire Nation), and where Zuko and Azula fought only as much as any pair of siblings, Avatar Aang emerges into a different world than he otherwise could've, a world where everyone has their own motivations, a world with more united royal family than we've seen before.
Or so it appears.

Summary
[“You were the golden child. You were ‘gifted’. The world was at your fingertips - and then, one day, the world caught up. And the same people who called you gifted, who you thought understood you, decided you were a disappointment, and cast you aside. You had everything you thought you wanted until the world was swept out from under your feet. You were left with nothing, and there was no one to help you pick up the pieces.”
“You have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“Actually, I think I do. I was that child - I was you, once. And I found a way back from that. It took time and work, but I found it.”
“Then what about me? What’s my way back?”
“I don’t know, Azula. But we’ll find it together.”]

Summary
After the events of War Crimes, Sokka and Zuko have escaped Zhao’s warship and are fleeing across the Earth Kingdom. As well as unfamiliar terrain, they have to navigate their shared trauma, work out where they fit into the war, and their place in each others lives.
Sokka is aware that being friends with the enemy is going to bring complications, but he probably should have guessed that being friends with Zuko in particular, was going to be a bit like dunking your head repeatedly into a bucket of angry Fire Ferrets.
Katara is also grappling with the confusion of befriending an enemy, something that doesn’t prove as difficult as she had expected with the bond of shared, furious grief bridging old wounds. (Learning a new way to look at her bending doesn't hurt either)
Azula, struggling with the Fire Lord’s mistrust, encounters a few nasty surprises and has to make some difficult decisions. Luckily, she is a great deal better at making sensible choices than her brother.
Her father may have made a slight tactical error.

Summary
In one short month, Zuko’s life changes irrevocably: two family members die, another disappears, and he is classed as an omega. Grasping for a sense of stability and for his father’s approval, he dives headlong into an engagement with Zhao, a naval officer with ties to an important noble family. Zuko's been told this marriage is vital to the unity of the Fire Nation, but whether Zhao cares about anything other than his own ambitions remains to be seen.

Summary
After his duel, Zuko had fled to the Earth Kingdom where he has been living for the past 3 years, living as a farmer and a healer after being adopted by a nice Earth Kingdom family, presumed dead by the Fire Nation when disappearing while injured, giving Iroh a chance to keep Azula from staying loyal to her father. Given a chance to heal & find people who genuinely care about him with no ties or loyalty to his father, he is able to be saved from growing bitter and jaded after years of failing at a mission. Using his alias as The Blue Spirit as a healer who has learned to use firebending to heal as opposed to as a thief and assassin, he is able to influence views on firebending from both the Earth Kingdom and Water Tribes as wells as firebenders themselves. He comes across the Gaang in the harbor town he has been living in, connecting with them as a healer who still remembers how to fight from what his life used to be, joining their cause before they even reach the Northern Water Tribe.
This is a series, I have posted a summary at the end of the 1st part if you don't want to read Zuko's recovery arc. I would suggest reading it, but it isn't plot heavy and I'm not here to tell you how to live your life.
