Summary
Born into Crime Alley, he realized early that his biology as an Omega was a death sentence. To escape the violence and exploitation he saw daily, he dedicated himself to a desperate act: masking his nature through aggression, defiance, and sheer force of will. He pushed himself to the limit, hoping that by perfectly faking the temperament of a different secondary gender, he could eventually trick his own biology into a more survivable manifestation.

Not to get it twisted, part of him is more than grateful. But the tug of his old life, the survival, the fight and flight seems all too much to unlearn in such a small amount of time. In all honesty he still does not believe any of this is happening for real. Like some part of him either knows deep down its a dream he conjured up or desperately wants it to be one. Nothing about the manor still quite feels like “home”, like it’s hiding just as much from him as he is from it.

That was the last time he’d ever do a favor for someone else: damn debt collector and shitty clients who can’t pay back their money. Who the fuck takes out a 2 million loan without any way to pay it back and why the fuck did they give him the 2 million.
Now he’s the bad guy and some 13-year-old girl with the biggest gap known to humanity randomly rushes at him and everything goes black.
Now here he was, some crying baby beside him, and what appeared to be a room full of weirdos in green robes bowing down to them. He couldn’t move his damn body and no noise would come out of his mouth.

You are Mithrun.” Mithrun peered down, lifting his skirt a hair to reveal where Kabru kneeled on the floor, needle in hand as he passed stitch by stitch through Mithrun’s calf to reattach his heel. When he noticed Mithrun watching, he sent him a little smile before continuing on his progress until he was able to pull the thread tight and bite it off. He tied it with swift efficiency belying this was an action often repeated even if Mithrun himself couldn’t remember it being so.

Summary
Too often, the plates of food that Mithrun and Falin made were going uneaten, their hard work to waste no matter how hard they tried to pawn it off. Even Kabru had started to refuse them, eating most of the time with visiting dignitaries and not having room for a fourth meal. A few months into this, Falin found herself once again turning towards the door with a tray in her hand, her cheeks hot from Yaad’s rebuke by her brother’s side, when suddenly a voice stopped her. “Wait.”
She whirled around fast enough that the plate slid on the surface, coming dangerously close to spilling the stew it held. “Yes?”
Yaad looked pensive, the tips of his fingers pressed together, his mouth a thin line barely visible beneath his mustache. As Laios and Falin both watched, he let out a heavy sigh that betrayed his years, his brow softening somewhat. “...I know where you could bring that,” he said quietly.
After her resurrection, Falin takes up cooking alongside Mithrun as a way to learn her body again. Perhaps her efforts will end in more than one person being saved. Written for the Dungeon Dishes Zine.

The first thing that struck her about his new room was how tidy it was. Kabru typically preferred to meet people outside, in a cafe or a restaurant or a bar – what he called 'neutral ground' – so Rin had only visited his old apartment a handful of times, and it was enough to make her understand why he didn't like inviting people over. She still remembered the first time she'd gone there. Kabru gave her his address when they reconnected in college, and said that she could drop by whenever she wanted, so she came the next day, which happened to be a Saturday. She had to knock on his door for a full minute before finally the door opened and she came face to face with Kabru, wearing nothing but a pair of boxer shorts, clearly having just rolled out of bed even though it was almost noon. He greeted her cheerfully and led her inside. What she saw there had been seared into her memory since. It was as if a small bomb had gone off in this small apartment, sending Kabru's clothes flying everywhere. While Kabru went around the apartment in search of his T-shirt (which he ultimately found on the windowsill), he nearly tripped over a bottle of alcohol he'd left on the floor.

So, when Falin meets Senshi, they decided to brave the dungeon together to save Laios. Hoping that The Mad Mage hadn't discover his corpse and reanimate him.
