It was much unlike the cold grim rain he was used to seeing lingering over the Blue Mountains, nor the harsh and unforgiving calamity of thunderstorms that rolled over Erebor amidst the sluggish months of summertime. No, instead it was soft and gentle, and the type of weather that would have any other inhabitant of The Shire curling up comfortably in their favorite armchair with a cup of tea and their favorite book - perhaps a few biscuits to snack on as well.
Regrettably, Thorin was doing none of these things.

Bilbo, who realized that he hadn't responded to the dwarf's earlier inquiry, quickly nodded, averting his eyes down toward the sets of weapons before him. "Oh, yes!" Bilbo forced himself to look back up, not wanting to appear rude. "I was just - er, admiring the view."
The dwarf - and he really should ask for his name, how rude of him! His father would be rolling in his grave at his behavior - paused in the rearranging of the set of throwing knives. Bilbo observed how he straightened up - and it very well could have been his imagination, but he could have sworn he saw his complexion flush and pinken. "...I see," was his slow response, seeming to be at a loss for words.

“Are we there yet?” Eren whined petulantly from the back seat of the car, his legs slamming against the back of Levi’s chair as if punctuating his sentence.
Levi breathed in deeply through his nose, counting to ten like Hange had instructed him to before they had ventured out for the day. The scowl remained dark on his features, however, as the counting ceased. He aimed a swear at the woman in the passenger seat for good measure.
In which Hange decides it would be a good idea to take a family day trip to the beach and Levi suffers.

Summary
Thorin gets lost on his way to Bag End to meet with Gandalf's recommended burglar. He stumbles through a flower patch, not realizing their pollen is a strong aphrodisiac used for hobbit fertility treatment. He seeks help in his host, Bilbo Baggins.
Never one to disappoint his guests, Bilbo was swift to open his bedroom door. His jaw dropped when he was faced with the dwarf haunting his sleepless night. Thorin leant against the door frame, shirtless and with loosened pants. His skin shone with sweat, the droplets highlighting the endless expanse of muscles and hair. Bilbo only prayed the dwarf wouldn't look down, because he was most certainly no longer only half hard. "Thorin!" He exclaimed.
Thorin shouldered past him and began to pace. He growled, a feral sound that made heat curl in Bilbo's gut. "Take yourself in hand you had said, that will fix it you said."

“This is what I get trying to help out a stranger on Reddit.” Bilbo thought, but didn’t say. Because earned or not, he wasn’t going to have a row with a stranger in his car in the middle of a blizzard.

Now, throw in the Master of Bag End playing host for the dwarf prince: you’ll get a clash of cultures, an ill-advised bet about educating a certain hobbit in the dwarf-lore, and all the pride and prejudice business you could hope for, plus Khuzdul.
A retelling inspired by My Fair Lady.
