“Okay, here’s how this is gonna go baby boy,” the man started, “You were not supposed to see that –”
“- No shit!!” Peter interrupted and the man huffed.
“But, there's nothing we can do to change that now. Damage was done, you’re a witness now, a cute little one at that– that I can’t really let go because you’ve seen my face and I’m not about to chase your fine ass back to a police station.” the man told him.

“Next time?” The corner of Seungmin’s mouth turned up in a shy smile.
Changbin mentally kicked himself; so much for making things easier. “Yeah, do you, um, want to get dinner or something this week? Or if you’re too busy, it’s not–”
“Yes,” Seungmin cut him off, taking a step toward him, “yes, I want to.” And he was smiling and suddenly all thoughts of “easier” had disappeared from Changbin’s mind because what could be easier than this?
In which Changbin starts dating a deviously cute sophomore while he waits for his soulmate, but soon realizes he might've gotten himself in a bit too deep.

Waking up the next day with a terrible hangover and seeing a text from Seungmin that only read ‘sure’, Changbin had a very ominous feeling about how this would go.

Even Seungmin's parents looked shocked. Seungmin knew his father's own neck bore no mark of his mother. Changbin probably never planned to carry Felix's mark either. Yet here was their king with Seungmin's mark on his neck.
So much of his life had been left behind. He thought he had to kill the old him for the new life demanded of him. Now he was getting the opportunity to take it all back, literally and figuratively. Breathe a new life into his past. But it was easy. Being married to the king was easy. Loving him couldn't be much harder.
"I would appreciate if everyone here was nicer to my mate." Seungmin bit out.

He looked almost too simple, but his accessories lit up the dark outfit just perfectly. A couple of silver rings adorned his hand, matching the jewels pierced in his ear. Hongjoong was quite handsome and his designer clothes fit him perfectly, at least from what Wooyoung could see. All in all, he didn’t look like the gang leader everyone described him to be, but even that couldn’t sway the officer. Hongjoong was a wanted criminal, and he placed himself in front of Wooyoung on a silver plate without a single care in the world.
“I’m not looking for a deal, in that sense, but I am in fact could use a little help with something.” he eyed the officer as if he was some prey that Hongjoong wanted to sink his teeth into.
“Then what exactly are you looking for, Kim Hongjoong?” Hongjoong took a deep breath, which only meant one thing for the officer. He was winning.“You.”

Okay, it’s not that bad. Yes, he has a bright pink dress and wig, and he sort of looks like a fool without the other half of the pair, but the costume suited him and he had already bought it when he broke up with San a week ago. Sue him. It’s not his fault Princess Bubblegum was tailored suited for him.
Also, there could always be another person who coincidentally comes in a Marceline costume and then they can pretend to know each other and are the best of friends like he suggested to Yeosang on the way to the party, but of course, that’s too much like the movies and he’s not that naive.
At least until Jung Wooyoung enters the scene.
