Summary
There are stories, as old as time, passed down from generation to generation. When the ancient powers of our world align, when the will of our Gods unite, sometimes a traveler slips through time and of course it is Bilbo Baggins on whose door adventure knocks but if there is one thing he had learned throughout his life, it was this: If trouble knocks at your door, don't open it. However, he had a tendency not to follow his own advice.
The moonlight touched his face, bringing forth the silver streaks of his hair and the blue of his eyes. It was almost too deep to be real, deeper than the lake beyond the clearing and somehow, all of a sudden, blue became the warmest colour in existence. Most wore their freckles in sunlight, but his showed up when the moon shines, like constellations in the sky, hidden until nightfall.
[I really just wanted to write Thorin getting whipped like Jamie from Outlander, and naturally, I ended up writing a whole remake of their quest, involving a timeline shift and Silmaril lore. The explanation for the time travel will be delivered in chapter 5, by a cheeky wizard, so stick with me because a wizard is never late, nor is he early; he arrives precisely when he means to.]

Summary
Thorin Oakenshield: King Under the Mountain. Unbending warrior, stoic leader, the iron-fisted ruler of Erebor.
And…completely smitten, over-the-moon, heart-eyes-doting adad to one tiny, wide-eyed dwobbit baby named Myrtle.
No one could have predicted how Thorin would handle fatherhood. The dwarves of Erebor had always seen him as their unshakeable king, a force of nature who could command legions with a single look. But then Myrtle arrived, a squirming bundle with Thorin’s thick, wild hair and Bilbo’s expressive, curious eyes—and suddenly, the king of Erebor was doing things that no one ever thought they’d see in a million years.
Here are five times Thorin Oakenshield surprised the fuck out of everyone during Myrtle’s infancy (plus the one time she decided to suprise him back)

Summary
Bilbo placed a kiss on Thorin’s lips. Thorin opened his mouth to let him in. Before it could get any dirtier, though, Bilbo rested his forehead against Thorin’s and whispered, “But, my dear husband, what if I told you that there is a way for us to have a child of our own, regardless of us both being males?”
Thorin pulled away violently, eyes large and almost popping out of his head. “Bilbo, what do you mean?”
