Work Text:
You are the embodiment of a dying star.
I know that now.
I barely knew you
No one knew
Just like you wanted
We all watched you as you ran out of nucualar fuel
your soul and body
collapsing,
Sparks of a nebula
A supernovae
An explosion
of anger and pain
Of the boy you once were
You became a neutron star
A husk of scartissue
Bone
Blood
And now that husk is 6 feet under
I know you would've liked that better than cremation.
Your life has beat and abused you to beyond endurance
So now you disintegrate
Under the blanket of cooled earth
Like you wanted
I hope you at least found a sliver of peace
And that the dirt surrounding your body is like an embrace
instead of suffocating
I know you probably didn't think of me in your last seven minutes.
But you'll be in mine.
