Summary
The convenience store at 2 a.m. is supposed to be harmless. Just ramen, a candy bar, and a milk. Kibum doesn’t expect to notice the same stranger again and again — tall, silent, bruised in new places every time. He doesn’t expect to follow him, either.
But Seoul has shadows Kibum never meant to step into, and beneath those shadows is a world of blood, bets, and cages that rattle with every strike.
Kibum should turn away. He should.
Instead, he learns how to stitch wounds with shaking hands, how to lie to his friends about where he goes at night, how to live with the echo of a voice telling him he doesn’t belong.
And maybe — just maybe — how to stop running from the parts of himself he’s always been afraid of.
