Summary
A hundred years after the devastation of both Piltover and Zaun, Viktor has been living on the fringes of what is left of the society too stubborn to leave the ruined valley. Tied to the Anomaly, Viktor is not only a mage now, but an immortal one at that. The sins of his past are his alone to carry in his solitude, until the day he can convince the people's still living close to where the Anomaly was last seen, to move so he can destroy it-- and with it end his long life.
Despite his isolation and refusal to get close to people ever again, a nearby Village has heralded him as their god. To appease him, every five years they leave an offering of a beautiful young maiden. Yet every time Viktor cuts them loose and tells them to go home. That is, until a certain tribute is given to him on the brink of death, a strange illness ravaging her lungs. Unable to turn away someone so obviously needing his help to live, Viktor takes her in and begins to attempt to heal her as best he can without resorting to using the Arcane.
The questions are thus:
Will Viktor be able to heal the woman without the use of his magic?
And if he does, will he be able to turn her away when she makes him feel so human? -

On a cold, January morning Trost High learns of the sudden and untimely death of Marco Bodt. The two had been best friends, after all, much to the confusion of every teacher and student attending Trost High. When Armin Arlert, smartest kid in his AP English class, decides to keep tabs on Jean after the death of his best friend, he finds out he signed up for more than he originally thought. Through the course of a strange and budding friendship, Armin discovers a dark past and present that Jean has lived through. Cutting, Burning. Starving himself or making himself puke, there seems to be no end to the punishments Jean inflicts upon himself. The question, is why? Will Armin's friendship be enough to save Jean Kirschtein from himself?

Summary
Roy Mustang likes to enjoy a couple drinks in seedy bars after work, a ritual he still holds onto even as a promoted General in Central Command. This particular summer evening he finds a lovely blonde woman slumped drunkenly at the bar, and he can't help the strange alluring pull she has on him. Except, he finds out that she is really a he, and not just any man-- no, of course the blond he has been ogling turns out to be Edward freaking Elric, his once bratty subordinate.
In a liquid courage induced state of mind, Roy approaches Ed and starts up a (seemingly unwanted) conversation with the former Alchemist. And as the events of the evening unfold, the two will come to find that maybe they have changed over the war-torn years of struggle, and pain. And that, given all they have been through together, maybe unspoken feelings strange, but unavoidably real-- have been lurking under the surface all along. -
