Every part of him felt drained. Every part of him hurt. Part of him wanted to deny it was real, because Alphonse was just there with him. He was just there. In the gate he had even smiled at him, and then he was gone, just like that. It was all so sudden and he didn't know how to process it.
In which Al is too weak to survive when he comes back from the gate, and Ed just has to grow to accept it.
I am entirely writing this from my own heart and my own feelings, because I just lost my grandmother yesterday from a stroke(before finding out my other grandma is dead too) and it hurts so fucking bad right now. So please, please just be nice, maybe I'm selfish for writing out my feelings about something this serious through a fanfiction, but I need to write about it in some way or another because I feel on the verge of doing something reckless. This will contain extreme trigger warnings such a self-harm and suicidal themes, so I hope you will bear that in mind as you read it. Thank you so much.

She approached the room looking at her feet. Yet still feeling the disappointed stares that a twelve year old was trying to be a state alchemist. Whispers flooded the room but Chara blocked them out. A small pot full of dirt rested before her as she began to run her hands through it. Small golden flowers began to spring up from seemingly nowhere. As the girl focused the flowers soon became large ravenous vines at her will. "I am Chara Dreemur and you WILL accept me as the golden alchemist." As soon as she said that she walked away only to be stopped by the guards scared of her power and potential. The guards kept her there as everyone discussed amongst themselves. The decision was made as the newly certified alchemist walked home.

And Naboo was a beautiful planet, alternating between sprawling cities set into cliff sides and lush, green fields, bracketed by crystal clear water and the occasional swamp land inhabited by the Gungans -- which Winry was still trying to wrap her head around. After having her soul ripped out by the homunculus running Amestris and finding out her best friends’ father was a 400 year old myth, aliens and intergalactic travel should really be nothing special but she was only human, okay? And it was a lot for a random Tuesday.
