Summary
It was love at first sight for Riki.
The moment he had walked through those office doors, laid eyes on the cute omega with his beautiful eyes and got a whiff of his strawberry scent, he was locked in for life.
Unfortunately, the team he works in isn't exactly known for their successful courting rituals. But that's okay.
Riki's here to change that.
Or: Riki is trying his best to court Jungwon. Emphasis on trying.

Summary
Though it may not seem like it, Riki did miss home sometimes. He misses his older sister Yeji- and his mother too. Though being at home wouldn’t make missing her any easier; it would only make the memory of her even more painful.
You see, Nishimura Riki has been through some shit, and though he is surrounded by people every day, nobody really knows his true story. Even his closest friends Jake and Sunghoon wouldn’t be able to tell you what Riki’s childhood was like, and if they ever asked him, they would get a very sugar-coated version of the truth.
But by all means, don’t feel sorry for Riki, he prefers it this way, with his past being completely separate from the new life he has built for himself here at Lakeshore. He’s changed, and he’s happy about it too.
He even changed his name.
OR: Lakeshore’s charismatic football captain, Nishimura Riki, is forced into tutoring with geeky Yang Jungwon.

Summary
"It's not your fault," he manages, squeezing Jungwon's shoulder in an attempt at comforting him. "Not at all. Please don't apologise to me for something that's out of your control. I mean, come on, it's a fucking curse because apparently those exist now. There's nothing you could do."
"I guess." He's still not making eye contact with Jay. "I'm just sorry that you've been dragged into this mess." He snorts humourlessly. "And now you're gonna have to be attached to me for literal months."
"It won't be so bad," Jay says, shocked to find that he means it. "Considering," he puts on a brave face, "considering it's us, right?"
Jungwon looks up at that, face set in wariness. "Yeah," he says slowly, eyes scanning Jay's face. "Yeah, considering it's us."
Or: Jay quickly learns that there are worse things than being curse-bonded to your bandmate.

Summary
Later, as they walk back with their bounty of produce, the sun dipping low over the hills, Jungwon says quietly, “Thanks…for being here.”
Riki turns to look at him. “Where else would I be?”
Jungwon doesn’t answer right away. Then, “I don’t know. Somewhere bigger. Louder. You don’t seem like the kind of person who stays long in a town like this.”
“I didn’t think I was,” Riki admits.
The stars are out, lazily scattered across the navy sky, the moon slung low above the fields like it’s watching them. Cicadas hum, somewhere far but near enough to stitch the silence between stories.
Between the hostile roosters and endless peach trees, Riki's quarter-life-crisis getaway turns from a week, into two, then three, maybe four would be just enough. It'll never be enough. Riki is falling—for the town, for the quiet, and for the boy who makes everything feel like home.

Summary
Riki can’t even laugh. He just stares. Stares at his mom, 3 years younger than she’s supposed to be. At himself, his blonde, freshman self. He is supposed to be a Junior. 18. He’s goddamn 16 right now.
It’s March 7th, 2022. There’s exactly two weeks and three days before he meets Yang Jungwon in detention in Mr. Jeong’s room.
Riki turns around, running a hand through his stupid blonde hair, and he brings his fingers to pick at his ear piercings.
Actually, what piercings? Riki doesn’t get them until after he meets Jungwon. He’s met with cold fucking skin, and the two piercing’s his mom got him when he was younger. The rest of his ear is pure skin.
Riki actually wants to die.
(Or, Nishimura Riki gets his heart broken, wishes to fix everything while feeling the aftermath of a sad broken heart, and goes back to 2022, a few weeks before he first met Yang Jungwon and began harboring a crush on him that probably ruined his life. Riki asks himself, sitting in his room, physically 16 but mentally 18: what the fuck does he do now?)
