12th Perigee's Eve parties are stupid, and they're even stupider when they're three days long. Not like you'd ever been to one before, but there is no way they could have ever been anything other than stupid.
It doesn't help that you desperately miss your closest friend. When all of you one day just got dropped into this world that is neither Alternia nor Earth, because it's kind of both, with no apparent explanation and memories from other timelines you shouldn't be having, Aradia wasn't with you.
And it really doesn't help that the one person you least want to do so decides that now is a good time to bother you about things from the past you would rather forget.
Maybe this is it. Maybe this is when you and him finally do kill each other.
Or is it? A lot can happen over the course of three days...(The title probably sounded a lot better in my head than it does in practice. But it is what it is now lmao

Maybe the guy wasn’t all that bad. He did take Eridan in for the night, instead of leaving him to wander around lost, and possibly die of hypothermia for real. Eridan wasn’t sure if he'd have done the same if it had been him in Sollux’s place. A foreign type of guilt bit at him. He wasn’t used to relying on someone, especially someone he was supposed to hate. But did Sollux really loathe him if a little bit of compassion had slipped through?
The Highblood stood wordlessly, feeling around in the dark before slipping under the covers next to the guy he was supposed to hate. He wasn’t going to sit on the ground and freeze all night! what else was he expected to do?
