But then another messages comes in, and he feels compelled to respond.
Suguru rambles, and eventually, he listens. He flirts — which is predictable, but not in a way that Satoru finds exhausting.
What starts as a means to mask his loneliness turns into trusting intentions, meaningful conversations, and something uncomfortably close to possibility.
Oh well, casual was never an option anyway.
