It just felt like a cruel joke at this point, just another way to get Nam-gyu begging for any inkling of attention Thanos was willing to spare him.
And, fuck, did it work. Nam-gyu would be an idiot to even try to deny it. Thanos had him like a dog on a leash, punished with a sharp tug on his collar and rewarded with a pat on the head, both actions just making him come back for more and more. It was desperate. Pathetic. But Nam-gyu couldn’t help himself, he wanted to be everything Thanos wanted him to be, even if that was his fucking dog. His good boy."
Or
Nam-gyu might just be a little too desperate for Thanos's attention.
