Sans wasn't planning on getting himself a slave. There were just too many mysteries surrounding the human to just let them go. Sans was going to find every little secret of theirs if it killed him. Make no mistake, it likely will kill him. If only the human would stop sucking up to his brother. He definitely fucked up.
You had lost hope. You resigned yourself to a life of pretending to be a weak human slave after years of being on the run. You were a broken mess of a person. When you get picked up by an asshole, you expect the usual. It would have been bad if the asshole skeleton didn't have a prickly brother with a heart of gold. But you couldn't keep playing docile human while humanity remains enslaved. Your friend was still out there.
Or in which, the author is sick of people using slave fics to make reader a broken/submissive doll and Sans a dom butthead, so author makes their own story and gleefully tramples over some cliches. No use of y/n. They just get nicknamed.

Percy's a god by default in the middle of a godless universe. Percy is trying his best to live a normal life as an unassuming janitor. He's been going strong for 50 years. Then the aquarium gains a couple of siren exhibits and his plan for a normal life goes to shit. The cherry on top is the sirens are murderous and hate his guts for existing. Anyone saying they're not glaring at him is lying. He's not joining the siren care team. No amount of pay is going to be worth it.

Osial is back in action, but unfortunately, he's back in action with the Archon who sealed him away for centuries. But said-Archon is hot and absolutely sucks at acting.

As he does his best to adjust to the new peace, he decides to add one more task to his list: befriend Anakin Skywalker, the man who helped him kill Palpatine and end the war, but now seems intent on avoiding him.

Summary
Tired of his constant battles with Skywalker, Mace decides to try out a technique gleaned from the Chancellor and simply flatter Skywalker into submission. It works very well, and soon enough, Mace forms an unlikely bond with Skywalker, complete with nights out at the theater and days spent at Coruscant's annual speeder showcase.
It's an unexpected friendship, certainly. But, Mace reasons, if Anakin spends more time with him than with the Chancellor, than it can only be beneficial for everyone.
(Mace has no idea just how right he is.)
