-Elliot’s the hardest worker at Builder Brothers’ Pizzeria—in fact, he’s the only worker there, besides the one cook that only shows up once a month. But the majority of the time, it leaves him there alone. Yet he doesn’t mind upholding his family’s tradition and feeding customers delicious pizzas that put smiles on their faces every single time.
One day, taking an order over the phone, he’s met with a man that leaves him in a dilemma. The man is somebody completely random—another stranger taking an order at the pizzeria. Pursuer has been alone for as long as it can remember. Nobody to keep it company, no other of its kind in sight. So alone that the hidden cycle deep within it had no reason to activate.
Until recently, when civilians encroached on its territory.
They were not kin, not of its flesh or blood. But still they talked, breathed, were warm, and that was enough to trigger something.
