Summary
Purple eyes opened only inches from his face and Tommy swung his knife up wildly. A claw sank into his thigh and another dug into his chest. He screamed and drove his knife into the enderman’s stomach. It reared back in pain and the movement twisted the blade from Tommy's grip.
Claws raked into his leg and across his chest, slicing through his armor like butter. He couldn’t reach the pistol at his side.
“Tubbo!” he screamed.

Monsters ravage the streets of L’Manberg. Tommy joins an elite group tasked with eradicating mobs and liberating the city once more. But years of effort yield nothing as monsters continue spawning and their numbers keep dwindling. The city Laboratory hides secrets of the origin of the mobs and, perhaps, the key to their defeat.
Time is running out, resources are running thin and there is no end to the monsters in sight. Each day is deadlier than the last. Amidst it all, Tommy refuses to give up hope of finding the family he lost at the beginning of the apocalypse. But with the rising stakes, will he survive long enough to find them again?

Summary
"When you get Minecraft, don't open the world that you didn't create."
This is the first line of an email that Derek received a day after he bought a copy of the game. A stranger who calls himself Avery and claims to be from the future sent it in an attempt to stop him, but Derek knows that changing the past will cause a grandfather paradox. Sensing his good intentions, he gives Avery a chance to change his mind.
Thus begins an impossible email exchange from 2026 back to 2022, between two people whose growing connection could cause a temporal dilemma. Neither want the other to suffer a terrible end, but their survival is mutually exclusive. Is this fate, or are grander forces at play?

“You hate me,” Tommy reminds him, because he really doesn’t want Technoblade to try and ‘fix’ his unfixable, nonexistent ‘illness’. “Tried to kill me and everything.”
“Yeah, well, like I said. No dyin’ on my property.”
“You want me to go die somewhere else?”
Technoblade stops in his tracks. He stares ahead for a long moment, then takes a deep breath and says, “End, kid.”

Tubbo never meant for exile to be an execution. To Tommy, though, it might as well be.
In which Tommy is the personification of L’Manberg, and Nations can die when their People reject them. Tommy is ready to accept his fate. Technoblade...is not.
