“As long as I can wipe that fucking smile off Alastor’s face… I don’t care what happens.”Vox was crying when he said it.
Later, when Alastor found his body among the remains of the battle, the irony struck him as delicious:
Vox had lost his head long before anyone tore it off~
And when only his body remained —warm, mutilated, and silent— Alastor should not have picked it up.
Much less taken it with him.
But Alastor has never been good at resisting things that bleed.
Nor things that, at last, can no longer contradict him.

Summary
Alastor is bored. Lucifer is lonely. Together they make a terribly unwise combination. One night of drinking has them considering a ridiculous flight of fancy.
They wouldn't ever be friends, and lovers seemed overly sentimental, but they could be drinking buddies.
A series of oneshots exploring Alastor and Lucifer's relationship progression through drinking, sex, and snark, each one a character study of peculiarities and vulnerabilities centered around the theme of a different beverage.

Summary
Perhaps the King didn’t care for champagne, or thought that drinking should only be done far away from his daughter if it had even the slightest chance of leading to sexual favors from her facility manager.
Then again, Lucifer’s disinterest in his champagne might have had something to do with the distraction under the table, courtesy of Alastor.
As it turned out, giving one’s shadow free rein to misbehave as it pleased was an excellent way to pass the time. Shadows had a knack for hiding in plain sight, and Alastor’s shadow in particular came up with such clever ideas in the dimmest corners of the hotel.
Like the space between Lucifer’s legs, right where the lip of the conference table cast oh-so-convenient shadows.
Alastor finds a way to keep staff meetings entertaining.

Summary
Lucifer's social battery is thoroughly drained, so he looks for any and all excuses to disappear from the torture his daughter insists on calling a team bonding experience. And if that excuse happens to be bringing a plate of food to the suspiciously absent Radio Demon? So be it.
What he doesn't account for is a very, very appealing half-naked Alastor... and a very, very unappealing holy scar across his chest. (Which, he completely fails to notice for a solid minute. Can you blame him?)
Lucifer totally, absolutely offers to heal it out of the goodness of his heart. Not because he wants to touch Alastor. Not because he nearly forgets the injury exists when met with an expanse of lean muscle and sinful antlers. Nope. Strictly medical.
In the end, they may not be good at this whole “feelings” thing…
But damn it, they’re very good at making it everyone else’s problem.Bookmarked by MingeMoth89
