Objectively, this used to be true. Nowadays Shane has many, many plans, between his nightly plans to look at Ilya’s penis through Skype and his various long-term plans laid out helpfully in his notebook, Canva (For Ilya’s sake. He is a visual learner), and more recently, Excel. Shane loves that excel sheet. He’s colour coded it.
In 2017, Shane Hollander spirals and proposes to his boyfriend of 4 days (or 7 years, or 9 years, or not his boyfriend at all, depending on how you look at it), which leads to a lot of plans, weird theories in the Montreal Voyageur locker room, some Twitter drama, and Ilya Rozanov entering his WAG era.

All he could see were her open eyes, rolled so far up into the back of her head that he couldn’t even see the blue of her irises anymore. All he could see was haunting white, sunken in cheeks, deathly gray skin. And the vomit. Oh, the fucking vomit. It was leaking out of his mother’s mouth and down the side of her face, causing a chunk of golden blonde hair to be plastered to her cheek. It was pink and frothy, running down her neck and soaking into her nightgown and the mattress below her, and it was speckled with red. With blood. With her blood. That’s when the scream had escaped him.

Ilya’s smile dropped in an instant and his feet hit the carpet as he vaulted off the bed. Something was wrong. Hollander sounded wrong.
“Hollander, what is wrong?” Ilya demanded and listened hard.
Then he heard it. Shaky inhales and even shakier exhales that made his stomach drop to the floor.
“I need—" Hollander’s voice broke as he took in a pained breath. He was in pain.
Ilya started scrambling for his shoes. “Talk to me, Hollander.”
