Summary
“You’re in love, aren’t you?”
Hearing it out loud makes him want to turn back time and bring forth the end of times himself. Crowley wants to explode, or implode, whichever one would be faster, anything to simply stop existing. He considers setting the place on fire to put a stop to this conversation-slash-intervention, but then he remembers they’re in the bookshop, and he couldn’t do that to Aziraphale again.
“Love?” Crowley repeats, making a big show of rolling his eyes, gagging, and making faces. “In case you hadn’t gathered, ladies, I’m a demon. I don’t do love.”
Maggie and Nina share a knowing look. “So you don’t feel safe when Aziraphale’s around? You don’t immediately seek his company when things go awry? You don’t find yourself thinking about him, about you two together, when you’re alone?”
“Well if you put it like that…”

Summary
Aziraphale turned back, making brief eye contact with Crowley, who stood leaning against the Bentley with a blank stare that held millions of emotions behind it- and at that moment, Aziraphale realized why Crowley was still standing there and not recklessly speeding off into the horizon far away from here.
He was giving Aziraphale an open window to turn around.
