Swallowing, Caitlyn pressed herself to the wall. Something near her elbow clicked, and the fluorescent lights turned on one by one. As the glass cage and the creature within revealed themselves, fear tightened harder in her chest.
Caitlyn couldn’t really describe it. Only the obvious things; red skin, yellow eyes, white matted hair, horns, tail. Like it had crawled from hell itself.
Her heart pounded. Cold sweat and goosebumps broke all over her skin. She felt hot and cold all at once.
Then the creature spoke. Low, throaty and husky. Threatening.

Oh Janna. He didn't think they could have gotten cuter. They were absolutely enchanting, it wasn't fair. Their eyes were shimmering like the ocean as they winked at him.
