Summary
It was your first day of residency at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Centre. You knew working in trauma would be difficult, but you hadn’t expected it to be anything like this.
After finishing medical school, you planned to specialise in cardiology. You had been born with a heart defect, and owed your life to the doctors who had saved you all those years ago. The hospital had been your second home growing up, so you thought you had known what to expect.
What you hadn’t expected was for everything to be thrown off course by the incredibly talented and even better looking Doctors working in the Pitt.
As hours go by, professional boundaries between you and your coworkers start to blur. Touches, comfort, and glances linger longer than they should, and you find yourself falling for your handsome and much older bosses and coworkers.
I couldn’t choose between writing a fic about Robby, Abbot or Whitaker so I thought, why not all three…?

Summary
“Whitaker, you need to sit down. You have a concussion.” The voice next to him tries to tell him, and it's almost familiar this time.
“Yeah I realized that, I am a fuckin' doctor. Student doctor. Whatever.” he replies, turning to squint at the man sitting next to him. “Look, can you just get Dr. Robby? He’ll tell you I'm fine, I gotta get back to work, I got… patients and shit.”
The man looks at someone behind him, some expression he can’t quite figure out. He starts to say something else, and—oh shit he’s gonna throw up fuck—he tries to lean away and not vomit all over anyone else. He doesn't quite make it.
“Shit,” yeah, he definitely ruined that guy’s shoes. Whoops. “Sorry.”

Summary
Being good at details means he's pretty good at making sure none of his own details spill out into the open, even while he's cataloguing everyone else's.
And that sense he can't shut off, that thing that lives under his skin and watches and watches and watches? It is always tuned in to whatever frequency Robby is on.
He doesn't mean to notice. He absorbs the awareness, epidermis to dermis to bloodstream, the constriction that makes the hair stand up on the back of his neck.
§
Trinity throws a going-away party for Robby. Dennis puts together all the pieces of Robby he can’t stop noticing. Some bad decisions are made, for (hot) self-actualization reasons. Only the last chapter will be explicit.

Dennis does laugh, now. Sort of panicked and shivering, a little humiliated. "I have…I have an app," he says. "I don't always go to Amy's on the weekends. Some weekends I go—somewhere else. Different places."
Eyes dark, Robby's head tilts again. "Different places," he repeats. "You tell anyone, when you go to these different places?"
"No." Not that it's any of Robby's business. Except that's Dennis lying to himself, because he'd answer anything Robby asked, he thinks.
"That's not very safe, Whitaker." No trace of a smile now.
Dennis says, "Kind of hoping I won't need to do it anymore."
"Oh." Robby doesn't break, but his eyes soften a touch. "So this is my fault? If I'd violated professional ethics earlier, you wouldn't have to put yourself in questionable situations."
"It wasn't your problem, then."
"My problem now, though." It's a statement. Robby grabs him again, strokes him a few times before letting him go. Dennis tries not to groan.

But it has been three weeks.
She has only kept waiting and waiting.
And it has become clear that waiting isn’t working.

“Yolanda,” Trinity tried to hide the excitement that was embarrassingly creeping from her voice. “Did you—“
”Yes,” She said, looking far too amused with herself. “You said something a few weeks ago, so I thought…this.” She gestured to the box in front of them.

That was the only explanation Cassie’s brain had been able to come up with ever since Victoria Javadi had started her rotation at the Pitt. From the moment they got paired up together in the ER, McKay had been fighting an internal battle she couldn’t tell anyone in her life about.

Summary
Robby's attention shifted, as it often did recently, to Whitaker. He stood outside room sixteen, shoulder to shoulder with Santos. Santos leaned closer to him and whispered something that made Whitaker erupt in bright laughter.
Robby’s heart warmed, but a familiar and ugly feeling coiled in his gut. He placed his hands on his hips and stared at the pair.

Summary
So she stayed silent and didn’t talk back, forced her eyes to not wander, hid, bared herself as an offering to Al-Hashimi's dark-brown gaze. Held it a little too long and a little too silently, maybe, to fit into her usual patterns. The shortest creasing of a brow, the letting her off with a gentle warning that was too gentle for what she would usually have gotten.
Pity is the highest and most final form of contempt, the last saint before downfall, maybe that’s why she takes to it so well.
