Summary
It’s been a year and a half since Team Plasma attacked the Pokémon League, and Ranger Lena Winifred is finally starting to feel like things are going back to normal. Sure, Unova’s in a power struggle, the International Police keeps strong-arming the Ranger Union out of incidents, and Unova’s savior Hilbert disappeared without a trace, but the region’s healing and Lena’s finally starting to move on from her own repressed trauma.
But when Lena gets a Quest to investigate a missing child in Accumula Town, she didn’t think she’d be adding discovering extinct Pokémon, managing international politics, and protecting a child who seems to know too much to her job description.
But duty calls, and Lena is not going to fail again.

Then he died. In his own home, in his own bed.
Only afterwards, now with far more arms and a strange relationship with gravity, did he start panicking.
Not quite alive again and in a place he’s never heard of, Charlie isn’t sure what to make of a world he hadn’t thought of in more than a decade. Really, he’s lucky to be where he is. After all, if he’s never heard of Almia that means nothing bad happens there, right?

Summary
Over the years, new landmasses have arrived in the pokemon world through the mysterious maelstroms. Among those is the Flame Continent, a mountainous place where trees turn from green to orange at night, and firestones are more common than Iron.
Tide is a buizel who loves maps, ruins, exploring, and the wilderness. Ask him where a waterfall is and you'll end up with an infodump. He wants to learn more about the world around him, to be stronger, to be brave, to be better. He needs to be. So he can be worthy of kindness.
Mel is a riolu who likes books. The mysteries and intrigue always get him to turn the next page, even well after midnight. His favorite parts are the characters just living about their day talking with each other, even if deep down it makes him jealous. He wants to help others in trouble, even if he was always taught to never do so.
Together they will join the flame continent rescue guild where they will make friends, save pokemon, find some old ruins, explore non-euclidean mystery dungeons, deal with trauma, fight a criminal organization, and maybe kiss.
