Donghyuck keeps rubbing his chin. “Because I think Mark is being stupid and—did Soobin not debrief you on everything?”
Jake shifts in his seat. “Not…really? He told me I’m being accused of what’s been happening and then I kinda had a breakdown. And then Hoonie told me that you guys think I’m some sex killer or something? So that’s kind of all I know…Only a few people defended me and one of those people was you so I’m just curious why—everyone else seems convinced…” he trails off dejectedly.
Donghyuck twirls the pen in his hand, leaning forward.

Jisung smiles the best he can at him, even though it kind of feels like it comes out as a grimace.
“Hi Jisung,” Jeno nods at him.
“Hey,” Jisung responds simply. Chenle steps on his foot, forcing Jisung to say more. “Um, how have you been?”

Under normal circumstances (i.e., when he’s completely sober), Heeseung wouldn’t even let Sunghoon open his goddamn mouth. But with tequila dangerously mixed and flowing through his veins, he looks at the latter as if he’s the most logical and brilliant person in the world.
