Jax certainly did kick up a fuss at her initial suggestion of this venture. His embarrassed brain has blocked out the bulk of the details but he remembers the closeness of her body and the vibrating sensation of her voice as she asked into his chest, “Would you ever wear a dress again?”
Now he sits with what he can only assume is a face almost as pink as the dress he is currently wearing.

Especially when I care about you and I’m pretty sure you also care about me.” She flopped onto her back in frustration, still holding his hand in hers. “Even though I don’t know what the right thing to do for you is … I love you, and I’m going to keep you from losing your mind in here if it kills me.”
