“What’s he doing here?”
Todd had thought he was talking to Cameron, but Charlie, sunglasses pushed up into his auburn hair, was looking at him. The music boomed through the speakers; the room hot with sweat. Neil’s eyes were burning the side of his face.
Don’t say anything stupid, he thought.
“I carried a watermelon.”
Laughter, hilarious and wonderful. Neil held onto Charlie’s shoulder as his body shook. Eyes, coffee-warm and alight with joy, locked on Todd’s. He took a step forward, held out his hand. “Do me the honour?”
Don’t say anything stupid, Todd begged. You can’t dance.
Neil winked at him.
And Todd did not know how it happened, could not remember making the decision that his body took for him - just felt Neil's fingers wrap around his as he grasped his hand.
“Yes.”Or: Todd never goes to Welton. It's the summer of 1963 when he spends his holidays at Kellerman's and meets the boy who'll change his life.

Summary
Todd has just essentially volunteered to die. It doesn’t matter how much padding the Capitol applies to it, it’s true. He’s got nothing to rely on except an overly reserved mentor and his own instincts. Not much — but he’ll need to figure out how to use them, or he’s good as dead.
His odds are still better than Neil’s, who was reaped straight out of the bowl. With his lack of skills, Neil knows he’s practically dead already. He’s decided to dedicate his energy to something other than his own survival — sending his District’s volunteer back home.
Neither of them can ever be fully prepared for what’ll happen in that arena, but they can decide how to fight it — together or not.

Summary
“They can’t know. No one can ever know.”
Just two boys battling their inner demons, eventually finding solace in one another.
A story of the pressure of expectation, of friendships deeper than blood, and of the kind of love that saves you… just slowly.
A slow-burn fix-it fic, full of introspection and multiple POVs from friends and foe alike.
Mostly canon-compliant… until it isn’t of course.
Title from Walt Whitman’s “To You”.

Summary
i suck at summaries sorry
At Camp Evermere in the summer of 1960, secrets hum beneath the pines. A year after the events at Welton, the Dead Poets Society members reunite as counselors—older, bruised, and still burning with the ghosts of their youth. But they’re not the only ones who came to escape. Among them is Knox Overstreet, still chasing beauty in all its complicated forms. Also returning is Isobel “Izzie” Daphne Darcy, sharp-tongued, grief-slicked, and brilliant, escaping a disastrous year at Danforth Academy and the wreckage it left behind.
Evermere is supposed to be safe. But in the golden haze of June, rivalries flare, old wounds reopen, and the past refuses to stay buried. As Knox and Izzie circle each other—enemies, maybe, or something softer—truths begin to unravel: about Danforth, about friendship, about the families we make when the ones we’re born into fail us.
With poetry, stolen records, contraband lipstick, and midnight lake swims, this is a story of love blooming where it shouldn’t, of found family, of saying the things that were never said—and of finally, fiercely, choosing to leave. (english isnt my first language sorry if it isnt good lol)
