Leaving a faint dim remark of the sun’s presence. He may as well die in his bed, succumbing to the pressure of the scalding heat of the sun and its endless fury.
A simple knock awoke him from his eventual demise.

Jean has been stuck in his apartment for a while, drinking, smoking and staring deep into a place that doesn’t exist. He’s glad somebody’s decided to visit him but he’s not happy about how it ended.
Jean and Marco argue about Jean’s habits and Jean doesn’t hear Marco out. Days later—Jean finds out by special military personnel that Marco has disappeared and most likely has been kidnapped by a high authority black market group.
Jean struggles between paying his ransom bills and work everyday for Marco.

His condition was still young as of now but his feelings weren’t and no matter how much he wanted his sickly feelings for Chongyun to never leave him, if he didn’t want to die, he had to get the surgery for it to be gone from his system along with his affection for Chongyun.
He loved him. He couldn’t just abandon years worth of affection and attachment saved up for years and years for Chongyun to disappear with a blink of an eye so, what was the choice he was going to pick?
Did he choose his everlasting fondness of his best friend or a numb memory of his liking for him to be washed away?
No matter how many books he read, he couldn’t answer a question like that.
So in simple words, as much as he hated using those words, was it life or death he was going to choose?
