Summary

Oh, yeah, L knows Light is Kira, and Light is not happy about it. But even though he has the Death Note with him, he can't do anything with it because L is his only hope of making it back to civilization, so they can continue their battle and get out of the stalemate they realize they have gotten themselves into.
Adventures on the high seas in the middle of nowhere only get crazier when both men start seeing each other in a different light and sexual tensions begin to arise, much to the annoyance of both.

Koi no yokan 恋の予感: the feeling upon first meeting someone that you will inevitably fall in love with them.
~Light decides to take a little risk and seek a no-strings-attached hookup, and gets a surprising (accidental) match. Light and L gradually open up to each other over the course of a night, not knowing who the other is. However, as they go back to their lives in the morning, suspicions take hold and secrets come to light. The chance meeting starts to feel a lot more like fate as L closes in on Kira, and both must decide whether they felt anything real for the other and what that means.

A prodigy actress, Taoreta has lived her entire life training under her own orphanage's banner. She's good... a quick, flexible fighter who's able to deceive and confuse the likes of even L. To the point where he can't tell fact from fiction or her true self against the weapon her people have been molding her into. And as things get more serious between both them and their duties, L will find himself questioning if she ever had a soul to begin with or if it was all just a part of her deceptions.

When L died, he didn't quite die, he was sent to the Shinigami Realm between life and death, where he wanders the endless hours looking for a way to escape, slowly losing his memories and hallucinating. His only hope of remaining sane and escaping lays in his former successor, Beyond Birthday, whose rare gift of being born with Shinigami Eyes landed him there too.

Nothing was supposed to go wrong. The false execution was to test Light and Misa of being Kira, it wasn't supposed to lead to this.
After the incident, Light had not spoken a word, and was diagnosed with having been traumatized into silence.
But L knew Light understood what a significant move that would be in their little game of cat and mouse, turning the task force against the detective, and them now firmly believing in Light's innocence. L was convinced Light was faking the whole thing, and he was going to prove it.
The problem was how to make Light slip up and reveal himself, but L eventually comes to realize there may be more to Light's mental state than just a Kira Suspect and brilliant mind. But did he realize this too late to save Light from himself?
