Summary
Chongyun, a relatively new detective at the Archon's Investigative Agency, has suddenly encountered a certain phantom thief and been assigned to the case. Unfortunately, he also has to deal with his friends trying to set him up, an informant that refuses to be seen, and sudden heart palpitations that occur whenever he's around a certain someone that likes to steal. There also happens to be a significant rise in action from a certain organisation known as the Fatui, which the agency has had trouble with for quite a while. And how does this all tie together?
Feelings begin, attraction is present, love is in the air.

Chongyun is hurt. He tries to hide how much he aches, but he changed, and it shows. He doesn't blame Xingqiu, and no matter how hard he tries, he cannot bring himself to hate him, either.
They're both scared and alone, trying to rebuild themselves piece by piece but never achieving much, because every word and every fucked up conversations make everything worse again.
Until they have enough, and they finally try to make things better because they love each other.

As their fingers touched, both of them seemed awestruck as their gazes upon one another froze. Both of their eyes were filled with pure love and adoration for the other as they delighted in the feeling of one another’s touch. Xingqiu, finally gaining some composure back, moved his thumb in a soothing motion on the soft skin of Chongyun’s face, whispering, “I treasure you and our time together so dearly.”
