Because Miyuki is certainly easy on the eyes, that much is an unquestionable fact. He’s not called ‘pretty boy catcher’ for nothing, right? And indulging in fantasies isn't a crime either, Eijun thinks as his gaze lingers on the soft, plump lips currently pushed into a pout. An adorable one, one might add, but only if they were paying attention to that sort of thing. Which Eijun.. may be, but that’s besides the point. They’re rosy and beautiful and certainly look inviting and Eijun yearns to feel those lips anywhere on him, it doesn't even matter where.
His nose, his forehead, his hand — you name it and Eijun would be fine with it, if only he gets to know the feeling of them.

He says it so easily, naturally, like it’s not a confession of ownership, of I’m yours and you’re mine, like it doesn’t make Kazuya’s heart stumble in the crux of his ribcage.
Like it doesn’t make Kazuya fall even further and hopelessly in love with him.

Summary
There are times Kazuya all too easily gets swept up in Sawamura’s desires, going along with whatever he wants and if he stopped at all to really think about what was going on, he’d be able to see that he was, for lack of a better word, whipped. But he doesn’t stop and doesn’t dare dredge up any feelings, let alone his own. Friends with benefits is a simple concept, one doesn’t need to be a genius to understand that.
So why, sitting next to Sawamura on his couch and a baseball game playing on the TV before them, does he have a gut-clenching mixture of apprehension and yearning swirling within him?
Miyuki Kazuya has been struggling with his writing while Sawamura Eijun has just been struggling. A chance event and a seemingly insignificant choice have Kazuya’s life turning into the very same kind of cliche that he writes about. The only catch is that this is real life and who’s to say he’ll get to write the kind of ending he wants?
