Summary
At the beginning of the Hogwarts 1977-1978 school year, James Potter finds a cat and Regulus Black finds a Horcrux.
These events are not unrelated.
What follows is a deal to their mutual benefit: James helps Regulus hone the finer details of advanced transfiguration, and in return, Regulus teaches James what he knows of occlumency and legilimency. James is pleasantly surprised by how much he enjoys their lessons, certainly more than he thought he would considering what (admittedly little) he knows of Sirius’s younger brother. Summary
Nathaniel Wesninski had never thought that running away was an option.
Honestly, he didn’t think that the Nest was a place where someone could ran away from without getting murdered. He had been trying hard to keep Kevin and Jean safe his whole life that running from the nest was more of a hazard than an actual solution. However, when Riko destroyed Kevin’s hand, that had been the turning point for Neil. If he could do that to Kevin, his partner and almost brother, what would he do to Jean and Neil? So, Neil took the beating while Jean took care of the car and drove away with him in his passenger seat.
“How much longer?” he muttered, with a broken voice.
“A couple of minutes more,” muttered Jean, in the drivers seat next to him. “Merde, Neil. You are bleeding all over the leather.”

He did not bother hoping they would be kind or a major improvement over the Ravens, he knew how this worked. Despite the assurances of Renee, Kevin and Abby he knew that a broken thing like him would have no place among the Trojans. He resigned himself to the fact that his treatment the Trojans would only be marginally better than the Ravens. After all, a team could not function and succeed without the harsh discipline of the Master and Riko, the Foxes’ win had to be a miracle and a fluke. He was certain that the Foxes were an exception to the rules, exy teams had to function like the Ravens they just had to. It went double for a team as good as the Trojans.

Summary
Neil Josten is an idiot and he knows it. But joining the Palmetto State Foxes was probably the most idiotic thing he’s ever done in his entire life. And he’s done quite a lot of idiotic things. There’s only two things that Neil excelled at aside from Exy. Running and fighting. As he gets closer to the foxes and even closer to one particular hazel-eyed fox, Neil thinks it might be time to stop running altogether and focus on just fighting. Because he thinks he's finally found something and someone to stand his ground for.
Andrew Minyard has a big Problem with none other than the idiot that is Neil Josten. His rabbit had a lot of secrets and could lie easier than he could breath. Perhaps even easier than he could play Exy. And Andrew hated liars. And he hated Neil Josten more than any other liar he had ever met. And he especially hated Neil Josten for the fact that Andrew didn’t really hate the idiot at all. Because Neil was also probably the most honest liar Andrew had ever met. He was the first one to follow every single one of Andrew’s boundaries without question. He was the first one to never break a promise to him. Neil Josten was a Problem, but he was Andrew’s Problem. He was Andrew’s idiot. Andrew’s rabbit.
